||Lars-Johan Jarnheimer is a pioneer in Swedish mobile telephony who has developed the industry since 1992 when he begun as CEO of Comviq, the mobile operator within Kinnevik Group. He started his professional career as a Project Manager at IKEA in Germany and then as Marketing Manager at the international fashion retailer H&M. In 1991, he joined Investment AB Kinnevik as Managing Director of the Swedish music video channel Z-TV, a satellite channel started to widen their existing satellite TV menu. Soon after, he became Managing Director of the newly started Telecom Company Comviq GSM AB. After a successful stint at SAAB automobile, where he was responsible for Scandinavian, Baltic and Russian markets, Lars-Johan Jarnheimer returned to the Kinnevik Group where he became Executive Vice President. On March 23, 1999 Lars-Johan was appointed President and CEO of Tele2 AB (formerly NetCom AB), a position that he retained until end 2008. Under his leadership, Tele2 became one of the strongest brands in Sweden and expanded into several European markets. During his first ten years at Tele2, the company witnessed 30% growth in market share in Sweden.
Lars-Johan Jarnheimer holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Universities of Lund and Växjö. He is engaged as Association Chairman at BRIS in Sweden, an organisation that works for children’s rights.
